The audio is very rough. It sounds like someone brought a video recorder to a lecture and recorded from their seat or the back of the hall. But it is interesting and worth straining your ears to hear if you are a fan of the book or the film or both. The guy doing the talking is Joe Gores who has written a prequel to “The Maltese Falcon” and seems to know quite a bit about both Hammett and Spade.
